Morning Motivation

 “This is your life.. those are your goals.. that is your school work. It is up to you to pick yourself back up after falling. Happiness and success will not be handed to you.”

I do not wake up every morning feeling positive.. feeling sure. There are days I would much rather power off my phones and stay in bed but doing that would get me where?  On my off days I still push myself to get up and get going! 

I have dreams, goals that I am climbing, barefoot, over piles of stones to achieve. Every morning I stare at myself in the mirror and smile. I end up laughing at how silly I look. I wake up and do my positive affirmations and spend about 10 minutes talking with myself. The quote at the beginning of this post is an example of something I would say.

I get questions about how I do it.. how I got to this place. Most times I am not quite sure how to answer. I will admit I am in a much better place than I was last year or even earlier this year. It did not happen overnight, numerous changes were made.. I deleted somethings and some people and added a few too. Those who know me know what I’m about. They know one of the things I turn most of my attention to is inspiring others. Motivating and lifting them up. The way I push myself is the same way I push everyone else! How I talk to myself is the same way I talk to everyone else. When I get messages from people who want help or who need advice.. my face lights up, my whole attitude changes. I am not a professional but I know that I have what it takes to guide them along the way.

I have always been the one to take my shoes off and squeeze into the shoes of the person who I am helping. 

Lately I have been seeing a lot of negativity. More than I am able to speak on.  People falling …but not getting back up. We all fall…BUT YOU MUST GET BACK UP!! It is not easy and I understand that. Something I like to keep in mind is that  the good outweighs the bad. 

Get up and get going!
