Write a love letter to yourself.
Today’s journal prompt seems fitting since it’s Valentine’s Day. Today isn’t just about romantic love. This is a perfect day for self-love and self-care. Before you sit down to write your letter, take a moment to set the mood. Light your candles, make your favorite beverage, turn on some music, or do whatever it is that’ll make you feel good.
For me, I’ll begin by lighting my candles and sage, gathering my crystals as well as my journal, and sitting down to meditate before I start writing my letter.
Writing a love letter to yourself is a great way to express self-love. It’s a reminder that you are worthy and deserving of love. It’s a reminder that you are whole all on your own. Remind yourself that you are special and that even if you’re alone for Valentine’s Day, you can still celebrate yourself.
