Soothing Sundays – Self-care

Creating time for self-care is a thing we should strive to practice every day but there’s something about being able to dedicate a few hours or even a whole day to practicing it. When we practice self-care, we show ourselves that we are worthy. We send a message letting ourselves know that we matter and that our wants and needs deserve to be fulfilled. It’s important to take care of your overall well-being.

I think Sunday is the perfect day to set aside some time for this. You can ease your way into each activity without feeling the need to rush. Even if you are busy today, try taking a few moments to do something for yourself. This can be something you’ve been putting off like washing your hair or taking a shower. Or something more pleasurable. Whatever you choose to do, make it what’s best for you.
